1.1.3.3 Block Quotes

Quotations that run five lines or longer, whether in English or another language, should be set apart from the main text as block quotations. Indent the passage from the left and omit opening and closing quotation marks.

Block quotations should remain in the same font and point size as the rest of the manuscript unless the publisher gives different instructions. Final spacing, indentation, and display treatment will be handled during editing and typesetting.
