2.3 Citing Commentaries and Annotations
Commentaries and annotations should be cited according to their actual authorship. Do not cite a commentary, editor’s note, introduction, appendix, or explanatory essay as though it were part of a primary text itself. A citation to Liber AL vel Legis may use the abbreviated title and verse reference. A citation to a note or commentary on Liber AL vel Legis should identify the author, commentator, editor, or edition in which that explanatory material appears.
